Lonmin and Datacentrix team up for local community support

Lonmin, one of the world's largest primary producers of platinum group metals (PGMs), has joined forces with Datacentrix, provider of high performing and secure ICT solutions, to supply local schools and other community-based institutions with refurbished PC's and peripherals.

As part of a recently won three-year equipment refresh contract for Lenovo PCs and relevant end user equipment at Lonmin, Datacentrix has committed to refurbish desktops and other peripherals currently being replaced. This contribution forms part of the greater Lonmin Community Education programme, which focuses on five vital areas: infrastructure, education, local economic development, community health and supplier development.
