"The sponsorship is a perfect fit for us as a brand that is passionate about sports and associated with various sporting codes including football, cycling and rugby," says Serame Taukobong, chief marketing officer at MTN SA.
"We acknowledge the importance of radio and therefore it is innate that we look at platforms that can sustain our presence, but also our commitment to connecting fans with their passion for sport" adds Taukobong.
"We are opening a new page that will inspire all South Africans and further confirm the station as a leading radio brand that seeks to entertain, inform and educate through quality programming," says Martin Vilakazi, Metro FM station manager.
