Top tips for time management in 2014Time management is something that I often associate with that little red monkey-monster from the Chicken Licken ad. It creeps up on you from behind, and before you know it sits on your shoulder and demands your attention... ![]() ![]() The only problem is, many times it's not as easy as in the Chicken Licken ad... we unfortunately can't simply give the time management monkey-monster a spicy chicken wing and hope it will be satisfied. Time management takes more effort than that and it's is something truly worth investing in if you want to take your career, business or any area of your life forward. The results of effective time management will ultimately lead to the perfect work-life balance which, I think we can all agree, is what we continuously strive for. According to a time management article on Entrepreneur, there are only three ways to spend time: thoughts, conversations and actions. Regardless of the type of business you own, your work will be composed of those three items. "As an entrepreneur, you may be frequently interrupted or pulled in different directions. While you cannot eliminate interruptions, you do get a say on how much time you will spend on them and how much time you will spend on the thoughts, conversations and actions that will lead you to success," the article states.
