Who we are looking for

An account director who runs their accounts like a brand manager. This person needs the ability to understand, guide and consult with clients who do not have their own brand managers and look to us to recommend solutions.

What you will do

As the account director, you will lead the day-to-day client engagement and develop strategic recommendations with the head of strategy that address the client's business problems in a marketing and consumer context. You will manage and collaborate with a team of agency personnel to deliver on client needs and achieve favourable outcomes for the client, contributing to agency profitability and overall financial health, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What you will need

  • Over six years of related experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Team-leading experience
  • Excellent writing and strong presentation skills
  • Strong verbal skills with the ability to confidently engage with senior executives and clients
  • Detail-oriented, organised, proactive and able to multitask under deadlines
  • Proficiency in Office 365, Chase and related tools
  • Strong portfolio or samples showing strategic, end-to-end account management
  • In-depth knowledge of branding, creative execution, digital marketing and campaign deployment
  • Experience engaging with middle to senior management within client organisations
  • Hands-on experience with relevant platforms and tools
  • Good research, organisational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with AI and GenAI tools
  • Experience across multiple industries
  • Experience building and scaling teams across different geographies and sectors
  • Proven track record in account management, creative strategy and project delivery
  • Strong understanding of the creative process and industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team leadership ability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
