Bristow-Bovey in hot water again
Darrel Bristow-Bovey, who earlier this year faced accusations of plagiarising the work of author Bill Bryson, has resigned his Business Day sports column at the request of editor Peter Bruce after it was found that in one of Bristow-Bovey's weekly columns For the Cape Times he had used text from British TV personality Jeremy Paxman's book The English without crediting him. Bruce described Bristow-Bovey as "immensely talented" but said there was a question as to the care that he applies to some of his work. It has also been announced that Bristow-Bovey has withdrawn his Cape Times column.
