    Trekking for Trash

Social change adventurer, Camilla Howard and fellow adventurer Michael Baretta will shortly be embarking on 'CAN DO! Trekking for Trash', a 3000km seven-month long expedition, walking along the South African coastline (from Alexander Bay on the Namibian border to Kosi bay on the Mozambican border) to create awareness about litter. The pair will be collecting and recycling litter and educating communities along the way. The initiative will be sponsored by Nampak Bevcan, Nampak DivFood and Collect-a-Can. "People have stopped noticing litter, so we knew we had to do something bold to make people conscious of it again," comments Howard. "We have put our lives on hold so we can make a difference doing something we are truly passionate about." Their adventures will be documented via Twitter @Trekking4Trash and via their Facebook page.
