Visitor from EC helps cableway reach 26 millionth milestone

Elbie Mattheus from Craddock in the Eastern Cape was the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway's 26 millionth visitor. In contrast to 1957 when it took 28 years for the cableway to reach one million visitors, in 2017 it only took 11 months.

As a reward for helping the cableway reach this milestone, Mattheus received cableway tickets, a Table Mountain Café voucher, Shop at the Top merchandise, a Monopoly Cape Town set, a Jiva Grande Spa signature treatment along with an afternoon tea for two at the Taj Cape Town Hotel.
