Emirates looks to SA for its wine lists
Emirates has partnered with 25 South African wineries - including Ken Forrester, Porseleinberg, Klein Constantia, Waterkloof, and Boekenhoutskloof - to expand its in-flight wine collection.
Other wine-producing regions Emirates purchases from includes Australia, New Zealand, France, and Argentina, to feature in its regionally-tailored wine lists. The proposed wines go through a thorough selection process, which involves several people including the president of the airline Sir Tim Clark and an expert team.
Emirates serves over 200 wines and 80 different champagnes, wines, and ports on its flights on an average day in all classes across its international network.
