Baker McKenzie grows its Africa transactional practice with three new partners

Baker McKenzie has appointed three highly regarded transactional lawyers to its Johannesburg office. The corporate practice will welcome Angela Simpson, Lydia Shadrach-Razzino and Verushca Pillay as partners in January and February 2023.

Simpson, Shadrach-Razzino and Pillay are leading M&A and Private Equity practitioners in the African market. They each have a stellar reputation and have been involved in a number of high-profile deals. Previously, they worked for Webber Wentzel, ENSAfrica and Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, respectively.
