Ntshona named SA Tourism CEO
Sisa Ntshona has been appointed as the chief executive officer of South African Tourism following approval by Cabinet. The appointment was announced by the chairperson of the SA Tourism Board, Dr Tanya Abrahamse. The Minister of Tourism, Derek Hanekom welcomed the appointment and thanked Sthembiso Dlamini who had served as the SA Tourism CEO during the appointment process.
Ntshona had formerly worked as the Africa and Middle East executive manager at South African Airways. He had also worked at a major bank, leading enterprise development in 12 African countries. He serves as the chairperson and president of the Enterprise Development Council of South Africa, which is a nonprofit association that coordinates the enterprise and supplier development elements of the BBBEE codes.
