An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled site reliability engineer with DevOps and Jira experience to join a global leading car manufacturer.
You will be part of a dynamic product team that focuses on developing and supporting several mission-critical components. Working on large-scale fault-tolerant systems, you will contribute to improving system resiliency and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance large-scale fault-tolerant systems.
- Improve infrastructure management (cloud and on-premise).
- Implement infrastructure as code principles using tools like Terraform.
- Develop and support Kubernetes, automation, and containerisation processes.
- Create and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitOps tools like argoCD.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, utilising tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Ensure effective monitoring and alerting using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch.
- Support Unix/Linux operating systems and networking stack administration.
- Conduct manual and automated testing.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience with C# or similar Microsoft technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, microservices architecture, and Kubernetes.
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code principles and Terraform.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like argoCD.
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and networking.
- Agile development methodologies experience (advantageous).
- Confluence and Jira experience.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices.
