Role overview: We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven senior agency sales account executive to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving agency sales of our OOH advertising solutions to new and existing clients. As a key member of our sales team, you will leverage your sales expertise to build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals within a competitive market.
Ideal candidate:- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years in a agency sales role, preferably in OOH media, advertising, or a related industry.
- Hunter mentality: Strong track record of acquiring new clients and closing deals in a competitive sales environment.
- Self-motivated: Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage your time effectively.
- Results-driven: A proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Relationship builder: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term, meaningful relationships with clients.
- Industry knowledge: A solid understanding of OOH media, digital advertising, and marketing strategies.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using OOH ad management platform or software (e.g. DOOHclick, Broadsign, Hivestack) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Key responsibilities:- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop customised, high-impact advertising solutions tailored to client needs.
- Present and sell Tractor Outdoor’s OOH advertising products and services to decision-makers at all levels.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are favorable to both the client and the company.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, tracking performance against KPIs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Represent Tractor Outdoor at industry events and networking opportunities.
