Marine Workshop Manager

Position overview

Set and maintain the strategic direction for the service unit whilst taking responsibility and accountability for its performance, operational efficiency, growth, and reporting. Drive sales and manage all related logistics within the service department.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality general maintenance and servicing on vehicles
• Apply diagnostic and repair techniques as per training and standard procedures
• Adhere to manufacturer and company servicing guidelines
• Deliver honest, ethical workmanship to support customer satisfaction and retention
• Troubleshoot issues efficiently using structured methods and prior experience

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• Basic computer literacy

Preferred experience

• Five years of cross-functional workshop experience
• Minimum of three years in a customer-facing role

• Skilled in using computer diagnostic tools
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to represent the brand professionally
• Committed to delivering outstanding customer service
