Intermediate BI Developer

An infrastructure engineering and advisory practice, that believe infrastructure has unparalleled potential to create enduring impact with the potential realised by, designing, delivering and managing infrastructure in ways that maximise its value have a position for a senior business intelligence developer who will be responsible for tasks such as data modelling, dashboard creation, and using their analytical skills to provide valuable insights to the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., data warehousing models)
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualisations and reports for requested projects.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Client Data Support
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors in computer science or informatics or similar
• Minimum of five years’ experience designing and building Data/Analytics solutions
• Minimum of four years development experience in BI Solutions (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI)
• Minimum of five years in MS SQL Server databases and T-SQL scripting
• Power BI
• DAX
• Microsoft SQL, T-SQL
• SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
• Azure
