Our client is searching for a solution architect to join our growing Technology team. If you're passionate about designing scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions while collaborating across teams, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

• Platform expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our platform, architecture, and design.
  Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with teams across the business to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Solution design and architecture: Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions that align with client needs and business goals.
• Technical leadership: Provide expert guidance on best practices, frameworks, and technologies.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to build integrated solutions.
• End-to-end delivery: Oversee the full solution lifecycle—from design to deployment and testing.
• Continuous improvement: Identify and recommend tools and technologies to enhance solution performance and scalability.
• Documentation and training: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and provide training when needed.
  Risk management: Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar role.
• Proven expertise in Azure technologies.
• Strong background in software development, data engineering, and data science workflows.
• Proficiency in .NET and Python.
•  Experience working under ISO 27001 & NIST compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Big Data, DevOps, MLOps, cloud-based data storage, and data processing frameworks.
• Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies.
• Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

The reference number for this position is NG60181 which is a permanent position based in Pretoria offering a cost to company from R1.3mil up to R1.5mil per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
