Africa's top climate negotiator says 'no reverse gear' on commitments

"May was a digital month and we saw some terrific work coming through," says Creative Circle Jury Chairperson Graham Lang. However, he says that digital is becoming a really big category, and the growing number of platforms and formats make it difficult to put everything under just one digital banner.
Radio was another big star in May/June, with FCB South Africa winning first place in June for their Cell C 'AskMmusi' campaign. "A really beautifully tactical response to a political happening... it caused quite a stir, so it's really nice to see some locally relevant work coming through," says Lang of the campaign.
Print was well represented with some beautifully executed work, and Lang singling out Black River FC for their "beautiful and poignant use of print media" in the Youth Day campaign for Channel O.
Outdoor was a bit of a let-down in May, and according to Lang there could've been some stronger work in the category. In fact, due to a shortage of work in June, the judges decided to hold outdoor over to July.
Overall there was some great work in May and June, and the Creative Circle congratulates all the winners.
