Background

Key roles and responsibilities

• Deliver lectures in the specified areas: Political Studies.
• Conduct assessments and moderation
• Develop and manage study materials, coordinate modules, and handle academic administration
• Lead research activities and mark assignments and exams
• Utilise the Learning Management System (LMS) effectively

Qualifications and experience

• Master’s degree in Arts with a focus in Political Studies or a related field
• Proven higher education teaching experience and familiarity with LMS platforms like Canvas
• Competency in research databases (e.g., EBSCOhost, myJuta)
• Strong communication, organisation, presentation, and facilitation skills

Key attributes

• Ability to work both independently and in a team, with flexibility to work across different teaching modes
• A willingness to work after hours and teach across various Arts and Humanities fields
