Business Development Manager

We are a digital marketing agency specialising in lead generation through Google and YouTube advertising, offering performance-driven services tailored to meet unique digital marketing needs. We’re looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to help us expand and achieve sustainable growth.

What you will do
  • Sales ability: Consistently close sales and drive sustainable company growth
  • Scoping: Identify leads and opportunities aligned with the ideal client profile, ensuring long-term growth
  • Sales targets: Meet or exceed individual and company targets as set by management
  • Sales execution: Articulate the company’s offerings and integrate services into client strategies to achieve objectives
  • New client acquisition: Mine leads and referrals, prepare compelling proposals and manage client onboarding to company standards
  • Lead management: Communicate professionally with leads, upholding high client engagement standards
  • Relationship-building: Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to secure continuous new business
  • Reporting: Provide detailed weekly reports to the Head of Business Development on performance metrics and insights
  • Onboarding excellence: Oversee client onboarding, agreement facilitation, and workflow establishment
  • Collaborative efforts: Work closely with Account Management and Operations teams for seamless client management
  • Compliance and enforcement: Ensure valid contracts are in place for all new clients before commencing work, adhering to all company processes
  • Innovation and attraction: Create and implement strategies to attract the right clients
  • Continuous improvement: Stay updated on current technologies and trends, maintaining relevant certifications
  • Team involvement: Participate in team-building events to foster strong inter-departmental relationships
  • Time management: Efficiently track and manage time using the company’s designated software, complying with reporting policies
What you must have
  • Minimum of five years’ sales experience in the digital marketing industry
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving growth
  • Strong presentation skills with an ability to engage audiences quickly
  • In-depth understanding of digital media, with strategic insight into solutions for client objectives
  • Passion for working with people and networking
  • Self-motivated, independent, with a respect for authority
  • Goal-oriented, with a clear understanding of how their role contributes to business success
  • Proactive and opportunity-driven, with the professionalism to engage senior management and represent the company effectively
