Workshop Foreman
Our client is looking for an experienced workshop foreman with commercial vehicle experience. The main focus of this role will be the successful management of the workshop’s productive team.
Responsibilities- Manage daily workflow in the commercial vehicle workshop
- Oversee breakdown status and progress
- Compile technical reports, quotations, and feedback for management
- Liaise with suppliers regarding outwork status
- Enforce discipline and maintain general housekeeping in the workshop
- Be hands-on and work on commercial vehicles when needed
Minimum requirements- Minimum of five years’ experience as a qualified diesel (commercial vehicle) mechanic
- Three years’ experience in a supervisory role within a commercial vehicle workshop will be beneficial
- Experience with more than one popular commercial vehicle brand will be advantageous
- Code fourteen driver’s licence will be an added benefit
Salary: Negotiable basic salary (depending on experience) + incentives + medical aid and pension
