Our client is seeking a self-motivated draughtsman who can work alongside several specialists at their company. The draftsman will form part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have sound knowledge of the discipline they draft for. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and plans used for the production and assembly of various products. This role involves translating concepts into precise, clear, and accurate schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work.
• Performing calculations for materials.
• Communicating with customers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings. o Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the team.
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems.
• Must be from wood working or cabinet making industry.
• Optimisation software experience important
• Experience in sales

Qualifications and skills

• Qualification in the field.
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting.
• Proven three years work experience as a draughtsman.
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
