Service Manager - Motorbikes

A leading name in the motorcycle industry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced service manager.

Duties:

• Leadership and team management.
• Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service.
• Foster relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Implement and oversee efficient processes and best practices to streamline workshop operations and improve turnaround times.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding repairs, services, and technical support.
• Manage technical backup and support during motorsport events, particularly Enduro competitions, working closely with relevant departments.
• Take a hands-on approach to ensure that all work is completed.
• Conduct regular audits of completed work.
• Oversee adherence to health and safety standards within the workshop, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, particularly in Enduro and competitive motorcycle events, to remain at the forefront of innovation.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Leadership experience.
• Extensive industry knowledge of motorcycle mechanics, with strong technical proficiency across various motorcycle brands and models.
• Relevant certifications in motorcycle mechanics and workshop management.
• Proficiency in workshop management software, inventory control, and CRM systems.
• Event experience: Experience supporting motorsport events and an understanding of the technical demands involved.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Licences: A valid motorcycle and vehicle licence (Code A and B) is essential.
