Front End React Typescript Developer – REMOTE/ Port Elizabeth/ EASTERN

We're seeking an exceptionally independent Intermediate Full Stack Node Developer with TypeScript and React experience to join our small team as the primary front-end specialist. This role requires someone who can work autonomously, make sound technical decisions independently, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.

You will independently lead front-end development efforts, making autonomous technical decisions and establishing best practices.

Required skills and experience:

• 5 plus years of professional front-end development experience with substantial applications
• Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React ecosystems
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern front-end build tools
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• Solid experience with Git and GitHub for version control
• Proven ability to optimise performance in data-heavy applications
• Demonstrated history of independent problem-solving and technical leadership
• Frontend: TypeScript, React
• Backend integration: REST APIs, Python services
• Infrastructure: Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure)
• Version control: Git/GitHub
• Development practices: Unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD
