Job description
Digital Print company is looking for a designer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to get their e-commerce site up and running. This will involve getting product images, details and pricing correct before being loaded on the back-end. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to manage the site once it is up, getting more sales through the site and dealing with the marketing and sales teams.
The successful person does not need to have classic print design experience, rather the ability to get product images ready for digital platforms. They will need to be able to deep-etch and image edit.
Requirements
- matric
- relevant tertiary qualification
- design experience gained in the retail/e-commerce sector
- ability to get product images ready for digital platforms
- attention to detail
- able to work under pressure
- able to work with basic back-end website loading of images
- own transport
- Adobe CS
