A well-established company in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Auto Body Repair Workshop Manager to join their team.
Requirements- A minimum of three years’ experience as a manager in a panel workshop.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of a panel workshop process.
- Deadline-driven and able to meet targets set by management.
- In-depth knowledge of auto body workshop processes, including panel beating, spray painting, workflow, daily throughput, and disciplinary action.
- Strong leadership skills with good business acumen.
- Technically minded with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in preparing quotations.
- Fully qualified estimator capable of managing the workflow through the body shop.
- Ability to manage technicians and ensure they are productive and efficient.
- Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring adherence to proper repair and safety procedures.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of paint and materials.
- Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Perform quality-control checks and inspect each vehicle after repairs are completed.
- Honest and reliable.
