Vehicle Sales Manager - East Rand, Gauteng 

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive our success based in the East Rand, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing support and coaching.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies and promotions to drive vehicle sales and meet or exceed dealership targets.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and that customers receive exceptional service throughout the sales process.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of vehicle inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and effective presentation of both new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant data to senior management.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to make informed business decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with dealership policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of vehicle sales processes, market dynamics, and customer service best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with dealership management systems and CRM software is a plus.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
