SABC's editorial interference report set for release
The commission, which looked into editorial interference at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), is set to release its report into the national broadcaster. The commission had looked into several alleged transgressions at the broadcaster including interference in the newsroom, 'personal favours' in the workplace and failure to address sexual harassment.
South African Press Council executive director Joe Thloloe will present the report at the broadcaster's headquarters in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. Among those who had made submissions to the commission was Economic Freedom Fighters' (EFF) spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.
