The career fair is aimed at exposing students to potential employers and exciting job opportunities. It also aims to give organisations the opportunity to engage with students.
This is their second virtual career fair since lockdown started. According to Hloni Putsoane, who is responsible for employer engagement at the Career Centre, the first fair was a huge success, with approximately 2,000 students participating in the event.
“We are expecting 50 companies to exhibit at our second career fair, and anticipate that even more students will take part in this event.
“We encourage NWU students to take advantage of this exciting opportunity, and to register and upload their curriculum vitae in advance,” says Putsoane.
He adds that there is still space for organisations who want to exhibit at the fair. Companies who want to exhibit should contact Putsoane at az.ca.uwn@enaostuP.inolH.
