The previous conference, hosted in Scotland in 2008, drew delegates from 17 countries.
The hosting of the conference, for the first time on African soil, is a momentous occasion for South Africa and the continent.
"The conference will bring together warranty organisations, home builders and housing professionals from across the world, providing an opportunity to discuss challenges in the international market for the provision of new homes and share best practice on addressing them," says Andile Ncontsa, CEO of Litha Communications.
Issues addressed at the conference will include international housing policy, managing risk and protecting consumers, warranty provision and enforcement, technical innovation and the quest to address climate change.
"One of the objectives of the conference is to leave behind a tangible legacy that improves the circumstances of the less privileged. To this end sponsors can contribute funds, materials, volunteers, or products such as furniture or solar geysers to the project," says Ncontsa.
Stakeholders who wish to participate in the conference are invited to visit www.ihhwc-southafrica.co.za or contact Andile Ncontsa on 011 480 4922 or az.oc.snoitacinummocahtil@elidna.
