Brendan Cooper
Brendan Cooper is currently the head of internal communications at New Media, having joined the company as head of content in the New Media Custom Division in 2014.
Brendan Cooper joined New Media as Head of Content in the New Media Custom Division in 2014 and moved into the position of Head of Internal Communications in 2017. This follows a 21-year career in media that includes the positions of editor of SL Magazine, editorial director of FHM and heat! and editor of Sports Illustrated. Prior to joining New Media, he was an associate publisher at Media24 Magazines for the sports and motoring hub and his media career has resulted in multiple awards for the titles under his watch.
With a BA in Psychology, Industrial Psychology and Sociology, Brendan has also worked within youth markets as a specialist at King James Ad Agency and in digital publishing as a creative director at Praekelt Consulting.
His passion for internal communications comes from his belief that there is a global renaissance in this sector and a serious drive within organisations to not only help employees enjoy and excel within their work environment but also to add real value to their lives outside of the office.
