Donavin Patrick Hawker is the factory and logistics manager at Green Worx Cleaning Solutions. He has a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Technikon Witwatersrand and has completed a Basic Enzyme Training course through Novozymes. Hawker is also currently studying towards a BCom in Strategic Supply Management through UNISA.

With a professional passion for cost reduction and the introduction of green alternatives to traditional chemical processes, he is well suited to his main area of focus, being manufacturing, product development and cost reduction. He strives to fulfil his primary responsibilities, which include the formulation, development and implementation of policies and action plans aligned to maximise production, the management of planned logistics, as well as technical support for both enzyme and biological-based products. He is further responsible for the implementation of technologies for new product development and manufacture and supply chain management.

Hawker has built up much experience in this field of expertise amongst others, having previously been employed by Novozymes SA (Pty) Ltd as customer service and supply specialist, by Johnson Matthey PLC as process control engineer and by Zinchem (Pty) Ltd and Fry's Metals (Pty) Ltd as an in-service trainee. He also attended to laboratory research for Fry's Metals.

Being multi-lingual, Hawker can speak, read and write in three languages; English, Afrikaans and French.
