Frank Graewe is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a skilled microsurgeon practicing in Cape Town, Munich and Windhoek. Frank provides innovative and cutting-edge techniques in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is part of multidisciplinary teams for breast cancer patients undergoing breast cancer treatment and requiring reconstructive surgery, as well as children suffering from craniofacial deformities. He has a passion for craniofacial surgery for infants and children, increasing their quality of life and often, their lifespan. He has improved a number of craniofacial surgery techniques in South Africa. Frank is one of the few surgeons involved in fat stem cell therapy and their applications in regenerative medicine in South Africa. He performed the first cell-enriched stem cell therapy procedure in South Africa. He was an integral part as microsurgeon of the team that performed the worlds first penile transplant at Tygerberg Hospital in 2014.
