Michael Baretta is an experienced creative thinker who is deeply committed to changing the world for the better through innovative marketing and communications. Baretta is the founder of [dot]GOOD, South Africa's first and foremost for-good marketing agency.
The idea for the company was born from a 3600km trek along South Africa's coastline, to raise awareness for the countries' litter problem, called 'Trekking for Trash', which he completed in 2013.
With 15 years' experience, including divisional head of Africa's biggest brand activation agency and an impressive educational background, including Brand Management at AAA School of Advertising and a bursary to study International Corporate Communication in the Netherlands; Baretta has been able to build [dot]GOOD to a point where it conceptualises and delivers sustainable marketing campaigns for some of SA's biggest names.
