      Are you a bookkeeper who can balance it all?

      We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised mid-senior bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing routine bookkeeping tasks, and supporting the accounting department in various financial activities. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting and finance.

      Key responsibilities:
      • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
      • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
      • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
      • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
      • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
      • Support the accounting team with audits, budgeting, and other financial projects.
      • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and adhere to company policies and procedures.
      • Perform other related duties as assigned.
      Requirements:
      • High school diploma or equivalent; Associated degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
      • 1-3 years previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is an advantage.
      • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
      • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and procedures.

      • Strong sense of urgency when required.
      • Ability to react and be proactive.
