Required skills and experience:

• A relevant degree, technical diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
• Seven-plus years of experience in software engineering.
• Expert in C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Windows,
• Proficient in modern frontend technologies such as Angular, React and Vue
• Strong knowledge of data modelling concepts (both normalized and dimensional)
• Familiarity with multiple data storage systems and optimization methods.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to finalise requirements, design software, and solve technical challenges.
• Implementing best practices in coding, development processes, and conducting code reviews.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering their growth and skill development.
• Staying ahead of the curve by researching and adopting new technologies.
• Handling complex data models and delivering clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Operating effectively in Agile, Waterfall, and other development environments.
• Contributing to project planning and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Performing related tasks as needed to support the team’s goals. 

Reference Number for this position is MM60081 which is a permanent Hybrid position for a business based in Cape Town offering a cost to company salary of up R1.2m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
