      Senior Human Resources Director

      We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of People and Culture to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our HR and people strategies to support the organization’s goals and foster a thriving, purpose-driven workplace culture.

      The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in HR leadership, with the ability to manage end-to-end people operations, champion organisational culture, and ensure compliance with all HR policies and regulations.

      Key responsibilities:

      Strategic leadership
      • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals.
      • Lead workforce planning and talent management initiatives.
      • Champion organisational culture and employee engagement programs.
      Policy development and compliance
      • Oversee the creation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
      • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
      • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.
      Recruitment and talent acquisition
      • Create recruitment plans to attract top talent across all levels.
      • Oversee executive-level hiring processes and partnerships with external recruiters.
      • Manage a values-driven and efficient talent acquisition process.
      Onboarding and development
      • Enhance the existing onboard program
      • Develop a learning philosophy and implement learning and development initiatives.
      • Create leadership development and high-growth career programs.
      Performance management
      • Oversee the performance appraisal system, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.(TEAMFLECT)
      • Collaborate with leadership to embed a feedback-driven culture.
      Compensation and benefits
      • Design and manage competitive salary structures and benefits programs.
      • Monitor market trends to ensure compensation remains competitive.
      BEE and transformation
      • Support BEE strategies and facilitate audits.
      • Collaborate on employment equity reporting and implementation.
      Employee relations
      • Address employee grievances and mediate disputes professionally.
      • Actively manage internal relations to support individuals and meet business objectives.
      HR metrics and reporting
      • Monitor HR metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
      • Prepare workforce trend reports for senior management.
      Health, safety, and wellness
      • Oversee workplace safety and compliance programs.
      • Lead wellness initiatives to enhance employee well-being.
      Change management
      • Guide the HR aspects of organisational changes, such as restructuring or growth.
      Key outcomes:
      • Timely recruitment and placement of candidates.
      • Successful onboarding programs that set new hires up for success.
      • 100% participation in performance appraisals and feedback sessions.
      • Achievement of quarterly objectives by teams and individuals.
      • Efficient management and implementation of reward strategies.
      • Smooth and effective HR operational processes.

      • Experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
      • Demonstrated success in driving cultural transformation and employee engagement.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage HR metrics for decision-making.
      • Experience in designing and managing performance management systems.
      • Background in BEE and employment equity strategies (advantageous).
      • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
