What you need to secure this role

• Experience: Minimum of two to three years in a production or manufacturing system operations environment
• Product knowledge: Experience with “production control painted body” (advantageous)
• Technical skills:
  • Oracle database expertise
  • Database design
  • PL/SQL
  • UNIX / Linux experience
  • Unix shell scripting
  • ITIL process knowledge and experience
  • Python, Java, JavaScript/ES6, NodeJS, C#, C++ (advantageous)
• Additional advantageous skills:
  • German language proficiency
  • Agile experience
  • OpenShift
  • Prometheus
  • Elastic stack
  • CI/CD
  • JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, X-RAY
• Key competencies:
  • Strong understanding of the integration between technologies
  • Coordination between development and support environments
  • Business case assistance
  • Planning and monitoring
  • Requirements elicitation, organisation, analysis, and management
  • Translating and simplifying requirements

This is a long-term contract role based in Midrand/Rosslyn/home office, offering a contract rate of R742 per hour, negotiable based on experience and skills.
