DIE Cutting Operator

• Operates automatic die cutting machine to die cut various cartons, folders etc.
• Positions dyes into machine, and aligns upper cutting die with surfaces of bed.
• Inserts shims between die and bed to set specified gap
• Lock up Chases and insert onto platen.
• Make ready.
• Starts machine and inspects sample cartons to determine conformity to specifications.
• Ensures cartons are aligned and tuck in flaps lock.
• Run the job to the quality standards as laid out in the Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP).
• Refer to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual at all times whilst working
• Assists with loading and offloading of board.
• Completes Time Sheets.
