Torga Optical is an optical retail chain with over 150 stores nationwide. We are seeking a creative graphic designer to join our marketing team at our head office in Cresta JHB. This person would be directly involved in the development and execution of marketing and branding initiatives across various platforms. 

Candidate must be fully proficient with the skills and understanding of the following, including but not limited to: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Social Media Platforms. Prior experience working on a wide range of marketing functions including branding, communications, advertising, email marketing, digital marketing, website graphics and content creation is required.

Required:

• Looking for a professional and experienced designer who has a diverse range of skills including graphic design for print media to digital platforms
• Work on diverse design projects, including branding, print, and digital campaigns
• Strong experience in brand, content marketing, and campaign management.
• Excellent time management and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Develop compelling visual concepts to communicate information effectively
• Ensure brand guidelines are followed and projects are delivered on time
• Oversee image retouching and manipulation
• You will need to take the project from concept to completion on your own
• CSS
• HTML
• CANVA
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Multimedia content creation experience - After Effect/Premiere/Video editing for digital platforms.
