A client-driven to deliver competitive solutions has an open vacancy for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for developing and maintaining various client-specific as well as operational reports, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights. You will also play a key role in analysing, interpreting, and visualising data to support decision-making processes

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Qlik, Excel and Power Pivot
• Design, develop and maintain robust SQL databases to support business operations.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all databases.
• Ensure data visualisations are accessible, accurate, and actionable for end-users across the organisation.
• Tailor reports and dashboards to meet the specific needs of various clients across different sectors.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• Three+ years of experience in a BI Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in a BPO or similar environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including Power Pivot.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Qlik experience (advantageous)
• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI tools and platforms (e.g. Azure).

The reference number for this position is NG59762 which is a permanent role based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company of up to R600,000 to R800,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
