Our client, whose core mission is to build applications to ingest customer data from multiple sources and aggregate, manipulate, model and build calculations and transformations based on the customers' analytical needs, has an opening for a Technical Data Architect who is an expert at designing and implementing robust data architectures and driving the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Understand, architect and be the lead (and first) developer of the solution, including choices around
• the tech stack
• Work with the business owners and customers on the specific needs analysis
• Be responsible for all aspects of the SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing and compliance standards
• Recruit and build a team of talented and highly-skilled developers to join you on this mission

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least seven years of experience and have designed and developed a data platform in your recent past
• A keen problem-solving ability across general technology challenges.
• A solid track record in delivering high-quality software within an agile team environment.
• Experience building or working on a data platform in a SaaS environment
• Comprehensive experience using Python, and C#/.NET in the context of data pipelines and API
• development
• Experience with RESTful services, microservices architectures, and extensive database design and optimisation (PostgreSQL).
• Experience in writing testable code including unit tests and integration tests as well as working with a dedicated testing team.
• Dashboard and report design and development experience (PowerBI, Superset, SSRS)
• Exposure or experience running workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
