Job description:

As a senior events manager you will play a crucial role in planning, organising, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate conferences to awards ceremonies and outdoor demonstrations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event management, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection. This role demands a strong combination of leadership, creativity, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of event planners and coordinators to deliver exceptional events.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and vision.
• Develop event concepts, themes, and design to create unique and memorable experiences.
• Create and manage budgets, ensuring events are cost-effective.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
• Oversee event logistics, including setup, production, and teardown.
• Ensure all aspects of event execution, including catering, AV, and entertainment, run smoothly.
• Manage event timelines, schedules, and run-of-show.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback to continuously improve our services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in event planning and management.
• Proven experience in leading event teams and managing budgets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• A passion for delivering outstanding event experiences.
