Our client is one of the most respected corporate groups in the financial services industry, with multiple areas of industry focus.

They are currently looking to appoint a senior graphic designer to take the role of design lead. The purpose of the role is to conceptualise the creative brief to produce outstanding creative work within the scope of the brief that is aligned with the corporate identity of the brand.

You will be required to work within brand CI and maintain the required brand elements while producing innovative, effective design - it is therefore envisaged that you will have experience working in a corporate environment as a graphic designer or studio manager.

Team leadership:

• In addition to being hands-on in creating creative content, you will lead from the front in terms of setting the standards of output that are crafted in the Studio
• You will have excellent leadership qualities in order to mentor the team and be a role model - an example of excellence to the team.

Required:

• Be in possession of a degree in graphic design
• A minimum of 8 - 10 year's post-qualification experience as a graphic designer in a corporate environment. 
• Ability to interact with heads of department within the group to accurately interpret their required creative and layout requirements 
• Be highly competent in the use of graphic design software, and in particular, be an expert in your ability to use InDesign
• Check the layout, images and logo usage from the brief before handing it over for final print.
• Ability to proofcheck all articles and information
• Be fast and accurate, paying high attention to detail at all times
