We are in search of a senior communications advisor to join our B2B communications agency on a remote, part-time basis. Our work predominantly focuses on all aspects of the property industry, so experience in this sector is preferred. This role requires a lot of writing so only strong writers with writing portfolios should apply. 

This is a six-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance. 

Hours will depend on the negotiation process, but we are ideally in search of a strong candidate with 10 - 20 hours available per week. The candidate should be quick to respond and should be able to work independently (three-plus years of experience).

Key responsibilities:

• Media liaison: Engage with media outlets, maintaining strong relationships.
• Client liaison: Serve as a point of contact for client communications and ensure smooth project management.
• Copywriting: Write and edit content for social media posts, newsletters, and email campaigns.
• Media releases: Craft intricate thought leadership-style media releases—strong writing skills are essential.
• Administration: Handle reporting and other administrative tasks.
• Media pitching: Identify potential media angles and pitch stories to relevant outlets.

Requirements:

• Writing Samples: Please include examples of media releases with your CV submission. Writing is a critical aspect of this role.

You will be working closely with a Director based in Australia, providing support during South African business hours.
