Ster-Kinekor, DIFF partner in Wavescape Film Festival screening

Ster-Kinekor and the Durban International Film Festival have entered a partnership that will see a free-to-attend public outdoor screening of four films at the Bay of Plenty on 16 July 2017. Ster-Kinekor has collaborated with National Film and Video Foundation and this year's Youth Achiever Award winner Thapelo Mokoena to showcase Whale Fantasia, Bruce Gold: Last of the Great Surfing Hippies, Sea Change, and Given as the opening of the Wavescape Film Festival.

The Wavescape Film Festival features films about surfing, the ocean, and associated adventure sports; it forms part of the DIFF, which will take place from 13 July 2017 to 23 July 2017.
