Producer / Account ManagerCape Town-based | Mostly B2B technology clients in the US and UK | Producing witty, clever, sometimes funny, but always original B2B video ads (mostly live-action) and associated assets.
B2B is in a crisis of creativity, and we’re on a mission to change that.
Surely trying to build a B2B brand by looking, sounding, and acting exactly like everyone else in your category is pointless? Isn’t the whole point of great advertising to stand out?
Two years ago, we set out to help brave B2B brands (mostly mid-sized US tech companies) break away from an industry blighted by #BBM (boring, bland, and mundane) advertising.
Luckily, companies like Slack, Monday, ClickUp, Zendesk, and Mailchimp have already shown the world that being a little different can put you on the path to unicorn status.
Over the last 12 months, we’ve found our product-market fit, our messaging is resonating, and more and more mid-sized US tech companies are escaping the sea of sameness.
Now, we need a Producer/Account Manager to keep things moving.
What You’ll Do
- Manage client relationships—Be the trusted point of contact for US and UK tech brands, ensuring their productions and campaigns stay on track.
- Help manage our internal creative team/studio and freelancer roster.
- Oversee video ad production – From initial concept to final delivery, keeping everything moving.
- The bulk of our work is live-action, but we also produce stock footage ads and explainers (it’s meat-and-potatoes revenue) and associated campaign assets.
- Casting – Source, coordinate, audition, and get approvals.
- Scout and secure locations – Whether it’s an office, a warehouse, or something more bizarre, you’ll make it happen.
- Source and organize props – If we need a rubber chicken, a vintage typewriter, or a boardroom that screams ‘unhinged genius,’ you’ll track it down.
- Coordinate with crew & talent – Work with DOPs, directors, editors, make-up artists, wardrobe stylists, and more to bring productions to life.
- Handle production budgets & logistics – Ensuring every shoot runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
- Problem-solve on the fly – If a location falls through or a key prop goes missing, you’ve already got a Plan B.
- Keep creative teams aligned – Bridge the gap between ambitious ideas and real-world execution.

What You Bring to the Table
- You’re based in Cape Town.
- 3+ years in an agency environment or production house that produces great advertising/video ads.
- Production experience is a BIG bonus – Casting, scouting, sourcing props, coordinating with directors, DOPs, make-up artists, etc.
- Flawless client communication skills – Managing expectations, keeping clients engaged, and making them feel like they’re in safe hands.
- Meticulous organization and multitasking – Juggling resources, shoots, clients, and moving parts without losing your mind.
- Cool under pressure – Tight deadlines? Last-minute changes? You stay calm and find solutions.
- Lateral thinker – You don’t just solve problems; you see them before they happen.
- A sharp sense of humour – We make funny ads, and working here should be fun, too.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Table- You’re based in Cape Town.
