Mobile Visitor and Community Experience Consultant

Cape Town Tourism is looking for a dynamic individual to join its team as a mobile visitor and community experience consultant.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive, navigate, and set up mobile units at various locations and events.
• Respond to enquiries and convert them into bookings, sales, and reservations to meet targets.
• Assist visitors with travel, accommodation, and entertainment bookings, as well as retail sales.
• Execute tourism marketing campaigns and events.
• Increase visibility within communities and facilitate member activations.
• Provide excellent visitor experiences at events, attractions, and malls.

Qualifications and experience:

• Higher certificate (NQF5) in a related field and two years of experience in tourism, travel, events, and PR coordination.
• IT literacy to operate CRM systems and booking systems, and use social media for marketing.
• Adaptability to work in long hours and high-pressure environments.
• Valid SA driver’s license, as driving a mobile unit 90% of the time is non-negotiable.
• Strong collaborative skills in marketing, selling, and negotiating.
