Summary of job description

Photographic sales consultants are responsible for handling the sale of a variety of products and services directly to customers, as well as responding to customer inquiries. Consultants support customers throughout the sales process, offering advice before the sale, explaining terms during the sale, and addressing claims or returns after the sale. Duties also include drawing up sales contracts, preparing merchandise, and assisting with display setups.

Additional responsibilities:

• Adding clients to the database.
• Pricing and packing stock.
• Maintaining up-to-date personal technical knowledge.

Minimum educational qualifications

• Grade twelve (matric) with the ability to converse in Afrikaans and English.
• Previous sales experience in a similar position.
• A keen interest in photography and customer service.
• A diploma or degree in photography, video production, or TV (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Microsoft Office.

• Passion for photography as a hobby or relevant qualification.
