Job purpose:

As a business analyst in the online sales space within our innovation department, you’ll be the driving force behind optimising our digital sales platforms. Your mission: turn data into action. By analysing data, enhancing sales funnels and aligning digital efforts with the company’s strategic goals, you’ll collaborate across teams to develop smart, scalable solutions that boost customer experiences and drive conversion success.

Key responsibilities:

Data analysis and reporting:

• Pinpoint key metrics to track online sales performance. Develop and implement clear, actionable reports for stakeholders that align with our strategic goals.

Sales funnel optimisation:

• Dive deep into our digital sales funnel, identify areas for improvement and collaborate with our digital marketing and development teams to optimise conversion rates and customer acquisition efforts.

Digital strategy development:

• Help refine our digital sales strategy. Make data-driven recommendations to align customer experience with business objectives and stay ahead of market trends.

Project leadership:

• Lead digital sales projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Collaborate with developers, marketing and stakeholders to guarantee smooth execution.

Customer journey enhancement:

• Collaborate with customer experience teams to streamline the online sales journey, making it as seamless and user-friendly as possible across all digital touchpoints.

Innovation and technology integration:

• Stay ahead of digital trends! Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Skills and experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or a related field.

Experience:

• 3+ years in a business analyst role, with a focus on digital sales or e-commerce. Experience in data-driven decision-making and digital strategy development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI) and CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot). Strong grasp of digital sales strategies, UX and customer journey optimisation.

Communication and leadership:

• You can turn complex data into simple, actionable insights. You're a leader with a knack for project management and a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.

 Position is office based in George, Western Cape.
