Our client:
Our client is a leading business-to-business publishing house, specialising in trade publications across niche industries.
The opportunity:
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic sales executive to join our client’s team. This individual will play a key role in driving new business and fostering strong client relationships, particularly in the travel, tourism, and energy sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
What you bring to the table:
- Experience selling to at least one of these sectors:
- Travel: Former travel agents are encouraged to apply.
- Energy: Proven experience in selling to energy or related sectors.
- Tourism: Sales experience with lodges, hotels, or the broader tourism industry.
- Magazine sales experience is advantageous.
- A proven track record of meeting sales targets and generating new business.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Matric.
- A valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Strong skills in closing and negotiation.
