Qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12
- N6 Mechanical Engineering
- N6 Electrical/ electronic engineering – Light and Heavy Current
- Conversant in at least 2 languages
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Word
- Attention to detail
- Good people skills
- Ability to cope with unusual work schedules
- Team player
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Valid driver licence
- Mechanical engineering
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs
- Assist in Project drawing
- Assist in Analysing and testing protypes and each revision of a device
- Assist in evaluating final products overall performance, reliability and safety
- Electrical/Electronic engineering
- Designing engineering experiments
- Creating accurate project specifications
- Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
- Inspecting electrical component during and after product installation
- Testing electronics for problems and proposing solutions
